CNC Turner Programmer Setter Operator – Days or Nights - £15.40ph + SA – Ulverston

Our client is a well-established engineering business that specialises in the design and manufacture of complex and intricate components which are supplied into industries such as Aerospace, MOD, Oil&Gas and Medical. The company work to and maintain high levels of quality which is down to their highly skilled staff and continuing development and their modern machinery and technology. They work with a variety of materials including exotic metals offering their customers a first-class service. Due to continued growth in their order books they now require an experienced CNC Turner to join the team in their sliding head department.

To be considered for the role you must:

• Ideally be Apprentice Trained / Time Served
• Have a strong CNC Turning background of at least 3 years
• Be able to work with Sliding head lathes (Ideally Star machines)
• Be able to work direct from engineering drawings
• Be able to program on the machine using Fanuc controls
• Strong Setter Operators will be considered

This company runs 24 hours a day running both a standard day shift and a night shift so have opportunities for either shift with the night shift being run over 3 and a half days offering great work life balance. The company will allow the successful candidate to choose which suits them best and are open to even more potential flexibility on the hours to make this work. The company are paying a basic rate of up to £15.40ph depending on your previous skills and experience but if you decide to work night shift, they also offer shift allowance taking the rate up to £20ph. There is also plenty of overtime available so very good earning potential within this role as well as future progression opportunities.
