      Business Manager

      Location: London Salary: £30,000

      An opportunity to join a leading provider of foodservice solutions who have over 50,000 products that supply all areas of the foodservice industry. These include restaurants, hotels, bars, hospitals, care homes, businesses, stadia and education facilities such as schools, colleges and universities. The business generated £2 billion turnover last year, employs over 4,000 people and have over 20 regional distribution centres throughout the UK.

      They are recruiting for an Account Manager to take on the management responsibility for circa 100 accounts whilst also actively generating business development opportunities covering central London.

      The main purpose of an Account Manager is to manage and develop clients enhancing critical relationships with independent restaurants, hotels, bars, cafés, pubs and clubs. Operating in a fast-paced, exciting, competitive market place the Account Manager will be tasked with generating new business clients utilising strong business development skills and methods to facilitate growth and profitability.

      They are ideally looking for a dynamic and passionate sales professional who has strong commercial awareness with a customer-centric ethos to drive service excellence, growth and profit.

      An ideal Account Manager would have the following experience:

      • Foodservice or FMCG experience is preferential but not essential
      • 1 year + B2B field sales experience
      • Excellent selling skills with a proven ability to regularly exceed sales targets.
      • Strong communication skills at all levels
      • Excellent team player, due-diligent, career-minded and proactive

      On offer is a basic salary of £28 - £33,000 with a £12,000 OTE,company car, laptop, mobile, matching contribution pension scheme, flexible benefits i.e. buy additional annual leave, healthcare cash plan, childcare vouchers, personal accident scheme, employee discounts.
