CNC Miller Programmer Setter Operator – Days - £15ph + OT – Rochdale

My client is a well-established engineering company based in Rochdale that specialise in the design and manufacture of mainly one off and small batch complex components which are supplied into a variety of industries and distributed across the UK. The company have been providing their customers with high quality goods for over 30 years and continue to work to the highest quality standards and providing a fast yet cost effective service. Due to continued investment back into the company and a growing order book they now require an experienced CNC Miller to join the team.

To be considered for the role you must:

• Ideally be Apprentice Trained / Time served
• Have a strong CNC Milling background of at least 5 years
• Be able to Program, set and operate various CNC Milling machines from scratch
• Have strong experience with Heidenhain controls
• Have experience with working direct from engineering drawings on one offs and small batches
• Be able to work to tight tolerances
• Have experience with 3 and 4 Axis milling machines

This is a standard day shift role working a basic 38-hour week although there is plenty of overtime also available. The standard working hours are Monday-Thursday 8.00 am – 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am – 2.30pm. The role is paying a basic rate of up to £15ph depending on your previous experience and skills.
