      Operations Clerk

      Location: Basildon Salary: £25,000

      Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are looking to add an Operations Clerk to their Basildon office looking after both Import and Export across Ocean Freight. As Operations Clerk you will be an essential member of the team driving our clients dedication to exceptional customer service and experience. 

      As Operations Clerk you will be responsible for preparing and submitting customs entries for both Import and Export. You will be required to manage bookings, customer expectations and liaise with customers throughout the shipping process. Ideally a candidate would have experience in Ocean Freight; ideally both Import and Export but our client is flexible and can offer additional training. Ideally our client would like someone to have used CargoWise or a similar software; and knowledge of HMRC entry software and HMRC Tariff & Procedures would be an advantage.

      On offer is an opportunity to join a thriving business with a fantastic reputation in the market. A salary of £25,000 - £30,000 depending on experience. Working hours would be Monday - Friday; 9am - 5.30pm based from their Basildon Office.
