Our client is a world leader in specialist logistics distribution looking to add a Customer Service Advisor to their Manchester site. As Customer Service Advisor you will work in a busy logistics office dealing with inbound calls from customers placing orders and making queries. 

The role will be focused on processing customers orders mainly over the phone; dealing with customer information and queries and regularly updating bespoke management systems. The role has a high level of customer service and administrative duties; as well as the need to be able to work in a fast paced and time precious environment. The role will also have some account management elements when dealing with regular customers ensuring they always receive the best customer service to continue working with our client. 

The right candidate will have a great telephone manner; be confident with dealing with customers over the phone and a background in administration. Ideally the person would have had some experience in a Transport or Logistics environment but our client is willing to train the right person if they have an admin and customer service background from another industry. The person must be highly competent on Microsoft packages and using client tracking/management software as well as attention to detail and a real team player.
