Our client is looking to recruit for a Customs Declarant to join their Dartford branch handling custom entries and declarations as part of their Road Freight team. Our client are a growing multi modal freight forwarder with sites across the country and internationally. 

The role would be suited to someone who has some experience in customs, freight or international road transportation who is looking to be trained further and have a career in Custom entries and declarations. The role will require a high level of attention to detail; good IT skills and good customer service skills.

The role will focus on ensuring all documentation for clearance is in place; creating and inputting entries; processing of all inbound EDI and ensuring the smooth importation of goods. The role will require communication between overseas partners; customers and internal management. The role has a high administrative aspect and so experience in a similar role or environment working to tight deadlines would be beneficial. 

On offer is an attractive starting salary of £24,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on expereince. Along with a number of company benefits such as on site car parking; employee discount schemes and 24 days holiday (+ Bank Holidays). The role will be working Monday - Friday; 9am - 5.30pm.
