Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are looking to add an Internal Sales Executive to their Sales team based in Manchester. The role will support the internal and external Sales team as well as managing your own portfolio.
The role will require lead generation; appointment setting for the external BDM's, preparing quotations for customers and converting leads to create your own portfolio to then manage. The role will require a strong knowledge of Air and/or Ocean freight and ideally the right candidate will have a background in freight or shipping with the desire to move into a Sales based role.
The right candidate will be a very strong communicator; able to seek out an opportunity and have the ability to nurture relationships with potential and existing clients. The right person will be highly motivated and a self starter and be looking to progress within their career.
On offer is an opportunity to join a thriving business with a fantastic reputation in the market. A salary of £23,000 - £30,000 depending on experience with further opportunity to earn through a comprehensive commission structure. Working hours would be Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm based in their Manchester office. The first 6 months will be based internally but there will be scope in the future for flexible working between the office and home.
This is a permanent position to start with the company directly.
