      Accounts Administrator


      Location: Morley Salary: £25,000

      Our client is a growing presence in the freight forwarding world and looking to add an Accounts Administrator to their office based in Morley. The Accounts Administrator will work closely with the forwarding team to help with all financial transactions involved in the movement of goods including costings, purchase ledger and invoicing. The role will be heavily accounts based and a strong background in SAGE and Excel is essential for the role. 


      The role will focus on supporting the freight forwarding team with all aspects of accounts as well as providing operational admin support. The role will support across;

      • Costings for each client in regard to movement of goods
      • Processing invoices
      • Responsible for purchase ledger
      • Credit control
      • Insurance claim handling 

      The role will work closely with other members of the team as well as regular contact with clients to ensure excellent customer service. The role will also include foreign transactions in regard to purchase ledger and so previous experience with this would be an advantage. 

      The right person will have a background in accounts with excellent SAGE and Excel knowledge. The ideal candidate will be approachable; driven to deliver the best customer experience and have a high attention to detail. If a candidate has worked in a freight forwarding; logistics or transport based business this would be beneficial but our client is very comfortable providing the operational based training.  

      Salary is negotiable depending on experience along with the opportunity for a team based bonus. The company can offer an excellent working environment with a fixed working schedule of Monday - Friday; 8.30am - 5pm.
