Cylindrical Grinder – Days - £14ph+ OT – Liverpool

Our client is a well-established one-stop-shop engineering business that specialises in the design and manufacture of complex, high value components through to full assemblies. They operate within a variety of industries such as Oil&Gas, Aerospace, Automotive, Marine but also much more. Due to this industry variety they work only to the highest quality standards and have numerous accreditations in place ensuring a right first time and cost-effective service to all of their customers. They continue to invest back into the business and because of this they now require an experienced Cylindrical Grinder to join their team.

To be considered for this role you must:

• Ideally be Apprentice Trained / Time Served
• Have a strong background working with various Grinding machines  
• Be able to work with components up to 4m in length
• Be comfortable working to tight tolerances
• Be able to work directly from engineering drawings
• Ideally have experience working with Exotic materials

This is a standard day shift role working a 39-hour week with working hours of 7.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and working until 12.30pm on a Friday. The role is paying a basic rate of up to £14ph depending on your previous skills and experience but also offers good levels of overtime which is paid at time and a half so there is good earning potential in the role.
