Cylindrical Grinder – Days - £14ph + OT – Dukinfield

Our client is a large and well-established engineering business that specialise in the design and manufacture of their own niche products which are supplied to companies in various industries all across the globe. They have established themselves as leaders in their field through their consistently exceptional service being provided to their customers which has seen their reputation grow year on year. They work only to the highest quality standards and continue to invest in the latest technology and machinery to stay ahead of the competition and establish themselves as the go to business. Due to this they now require an experienced Cylindrical Grinder to join the team.

To be considered for the role you must:

• Ideally be from a Mechanical engineering background
• Have strong Cylindrical Grinding experience of at least 3 years
• Be able to work direct from engineering drawings
• Have experience of working with one offs or very small batches
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment without supervision
• Be able to work to a high degree of detail and accuracy

This role will be working a standard day shift working a 40-hour week although there is also overtime available during busy periods. The role is paying a basic starting rate of up to £14ph depending on your previous experience and skills. The company offer 22 days holiday plus all bank holidays as well as a company pension scheme after a qualifying period. This is a progressive company so there are good career opportunities available.
