Project Engineer – Days – £32k – Storrington

Our client is a well-established and highly respected engineering business that specialise in the design and manufacture of specialist components which are supplied into sectors such as Electronic, Scientific, Medical and Industrial industries. They are continually investing back into the business and because of this are now looking for a Project engineer to join the team.

To be considered for the role you must:

Ideally be Degree educated within engineering

Have previous experience working in an engineering business

Have strong problem solving and analytical techniques

Ideally have experience with CAD software

This role will include duties such as:

• Responsible for planning and implementing engineering projects
• Researching and developing programmes.
• Produce and maintain project plans
• Liaising with various other departments to ensure project success
• Produce various project documentation, such as test documents, design sketches and drawings as required.
• Quoting and estimating of jobs
• Maintaining the project file
• Designing manufacturing tools
• Regular communicating with customers, suppliers and internal departments
• Directing and motivating the project team

This is a standard day shift role although due to the nature of the role you may be required to work extra hours to ensure success of projects and is paying a starting salary of up to £32k depending on your background and experience.
