The role will involve supporting the existing infrastructure including server, storage, data and applications as well as project based work to improve and enhance the infrastructure environment. The 3rd Line Infrastructure Support analyst will have a solid background working within a busy IT team; experience in designing and implementing technical solutions, supporting of Servers, Backup Solutions, Exchange/Office365, Active Directory, Azure, desktops and operating systems.

The 3rd Line Infrastructure Support analyst must have strong experience of technical troubleshooting and problem solving. Depending on projects and tasks, the individual will be required to be available for queries during and out of office hours. In addition, as part of this role, the individual will be expected to deal with any system issues as and when they occur.

· Handle escalated calls from first/second line IT Service Desk

· Administer and maintain corporate infrastructure, including Active Directory and Exchange Mail Services

· Administer and maintain Office 365

· Administer VMware vSphere 6.5/6.7 Infrastructure and HPE

· Administer the Azure environment

· Monitor and troubleshoot server performance and ensure any necessary action is taken

· Administer backup and disaster recovery systems and processes

· Management of relationships with third parties and suppliers

· Keep operational documentation up-to-date

· Assist with the research, recommendation, planning and implementation of infrastructure system projects

Qualities and skills required

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2010+

· Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office 365

· Excellent knowledge of AD and GPO

· Good knowledge of Azure

· Good knowledge of VMware vSphere 6.5/6.7

· Good knowledge of Microsoft software/operating system deployment
