Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are looking to add a Warehouse Operative to their Basildon site who will assist with day to day warehouse operations mainly with loading and unloading of vehicles.

The role will be a versatile Warehouse Operative role and requires in date Counterbalance and Reach Fork Lift Truck licences. Although essential for the role; FLT work will not be the only requirement of the position and so the right person needs to be able to work across a multi functional role including goods in management; stock control; administrative duties and ensuring general warehouse upkeeping and maintenance. 

The right person will be enthusiastic; punctual and hard wroking. They will take pride in their work and ensure completed promptly and to a high standard. They will be friendly and able to work as part of a team and support customers when required. Safety is a high priority of the role and so operating of the trucks should be done with precision and care.

Working hours would be Monday - Friday; with some flexibility on start times. The person will need to have in date FLT licences from a reputable assessor such as RTITB or ITSSAR; additionally it would be beneficial if you have your own driving licence and transport in order to get to site with the varying shift start times.
