Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are looking to add a Logistics Assistant to their Basildon site who will ensue clear communication between customer and warehouse to ensure the satisfactory picking and dispatch of customer products against set service level agreements. 

The role will focus on contract logistics; working with customers who use our client on a daily basis and ensure the effective management of their requirements. The role will be mainly based in the office; dealing with customers over the phone and email; updating Warehouse Management Systems and assigning

Working hours would be Monday - Friday; with some flexibility on start times. The person will need to have in date FLT licences from a reputable assessor such as RTITB or ITSSAR; additionally it would be beneficial if you have your own driving licence and transport in order to get to site with the varying shift start times.
