      Location: London Gateway Salary: £20,000

      A leading multi model logistics business is looking for a Transport Administrator to join their London Gateway depot. As a Transport Administrator you will be responsible for dealing with all administrative and customer duties for one of their major accounts. The role would be very well suited to a candidate looking to take their first steps into a career within Transport and learn all aspects of the role from within a busy transport team. 

      As a Transport Administrator you will be first point of contact on queries and administration for a key account using our client for Road and Rail services. The role will be highly administrative dealing with emails; reports and paperwork related to deliveries. This will also require regular communication with the Transport team to ensure job status; assist with planning of routes and ensuring customer SLAs are hit. The role will also require a high level of customer service over the phone as well as email. You will be required to update transport systems to track vehicle, trailer and job status to meet delivery timings. The role will also have an element of communicating with drivers before, during and after deliveries. 

      The right candidate would have some experience in a transport, logistics or freight based role with the ambitions to generate a long term career within the industry. The right candidate will have experience in administration and customer service; be comfortable on the telephone and be PC literate. 

      The role will be based in their London Gateway Depot and the working hours will be Monday - Friday; flexibility will be required as start times will vary from 6am - 9am. Working week will be 45 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £22,000 - £25,000 per annum.
