Our client is a world leader in solvent distribution looking to add a Quality Coordinator to their Daresbury site. As Quality Coordinator you will ensure compliance for all imported goods; management of supplier documentation and conduct internal audits to ensure quality of movements.

The role will be focused on two main areas; customs and quality. The customs part of the role will be ensuring all goods have the necessary paperwork and information completed in relation to Brexit and HMRC. It would be ideal if someone has a knowledge of customs or import previously but this is an area which our client is happy to train. It is essential that the right person have experience in Quality and Internal Audits; this will include auditing suppliers and clients to ensure they have the relevant licences and approvals to ship and receive the goods. A high level of attention to detail is essential.

Previous qualifications in quality/internal auditing would be advantageous but having worked in a similar role previous is key. Previous exposure to ISO, BRC or SQF regulations or auditing would be an advantage. The person needs to be highly organised; a good communicator and have excellent administrative skills. The person will need to manage projects and so good time management is also important.
