Our client is a leading logistics provider who specialise in delivering Parcels, Packets and Mail for businesses across the UK. They are looking to add an Internal Account Manager to join their growing team based in Bolton. As Account Manager you will be focused on managing a portfolio of existing accounts looking to retain and grow the relationships within the accounts.
As account manager you will pro-actively manage the agreed service levels; dealing with any issues and resolving queries for clients. As well as being targeted on retention and customer service levels you will also be required to uncover further opportunities to expand the revenue potential within the active accounts through solution based and cross selling.
The ideal person would have experience in a B2B Account Manager role; developing and nurturing relationships and looking to increase account spend over a set period of time. It would be beneficial to have a background in parcels, packets, mail, delivery management or a similar industry but our client is open to experience. The right person will be an excellent communicator; able to build relationships and a driven candidate.
On offer is the opportunity to join a leading and stable business with an attractive starting salary of £22,000 - £26,500 per annum depending on experience and opportunity to earn bonus. Additional earnings of £3,000 - £10,000 per annum are achievable but dependant on performance. Our client can offer some flexibility with working from home as well as a modern office environment with onsite parking.
