Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are looking to add a Warehouse Operative to their Basildon site who will have both general warehouse duties as well as administrative duties in a very varied role that would suit an experienced Operative looking to enhance their career and responsibilities. 

The role will work within the warehouse assisting the Key Account Manager and Warehouse Manager and will be heavily administrative based as well as picking, packing and stock management. The split between administrative and manual based duties will vary day by day depending on customer requirements but the role can offer lots of variety. In regard to administrative duties this will include processing email and phone orders via the Key Accounts team; once added to the system the items will then be picked, packed and quality checked before dispatched to customers. The role will also require loading and unloading of vehicles using the Fork Lift. 

Ideally the role would suit an experienced Warehouse Operative who is computer competent and has an indate Counterbalance and/or Reach licence. The right candidate will be an excellent communicator; able to work under time pressures and have the ability to work individually.
