Location: Manchester Salary: £30,000
Our client is an established International Freight Forwarder and Logistics provider who looks to support a range of clients across the UK. They are looking to add an Internal Account Manager to their Sales team based in Manchester. As Account Manager you will be focused on managing a portfolio of existing accounts looking to retain and grow the relationships within the accounts.
As account manager you will pro-actively manage the agreed service levels; dealing with any issues and resolving queries for clients. As well as being targeted on retention and customer service levels you will also be required to uncover further opportunities to expand the revenue potential within the active accounts through solution based and cross selling. The role will require a strong knowledge of Air and/or Ocean freight and ideally the right candidate will have a background in freight or shipping.
The right candidate will be a very strong communicator; be able to problem solve for clients and provide an excellent level of customer service whilst being commercially astute to see further opportunities. The right person will be highly motivated and a self starter and be looking to progress within their career.
On offer is an opportunity to join a thriving business with a fantastic reputation in the market. An open salary dependant on experience of £30,000 - £40,000. Working hours would be Monday - Friday; 9am - 5pm based in their Manchester office. The first 6 months will be based internally but there will be scope in the future for flexible working between the office and home.
This is a permanent position to start with the company directly.
